Roadshow in Germany

It was a special honor and pleasure to host our friends from Dongobesh / Tanzania during the second half of October. Martin Tango and his wife Maria together with Pastor Zak came for this roadshow to Germany after their sponsors in Czech invited them to a trip to Europe. We spent a great time together and learnt a lot from each other.

**Visiting some of the most important Lutheran places in Germany – like Worms**

**“Here I stand, I can do no other”**
**– the place where Martin Luther refused to recant his writings at the Council of Worms in 1521**

In the Luther Chamber at Wartburg

**Visiting the City Church of Wittenberg**
**– the place where Martin Luther was preaching as priest**

Attending two services in the Castle Church in Wittenberg
– the place where the Reformation started in 1517

“Erzhäuser in Tanzania” – an event illustrating many different experiences of people from Erzhausen in Tanzania, be it as social worker, as trainer of local teachers, as adventurer climbing up the Kilimanjaro. See our guests together with Erzhausen’s mayoress Claudia Lange.

There is a lot more worth sharing. Many thanks for everyone supporting us, inviting us and meeting our guests during this remarkable visit. Over 5000€ could be raised within one week – this will be used to fund half of the new roof required for the new LEA Ministry Primary School Dormitory. After being back to my country and having visited many places in Germany, it was very interesting for our spiritual life. We learnt a lot of new stories how our God used his servants and his people for the good ministry. Their ministry is a spiritual gift for us in Tanzania. God has given friends in Germany the heart, mind, eyes, ears and all of these have brought good blessing to the life of people in Dongobesh. Friends in Germany understand the needs of poor people who are in need to help. And help our community and country to develop.

We thank all of our friends who have arranged the trip for us. It was fantastic to learn a lot of things about Germany, Martin Luther, the reformation and more. Also I take this opportunity to thank all the people who helped with the fundraising for our hostel construction in Dongobesh. We thank from our heart for this great job you did for us. I thank Arnd and his family and all of his people who stand with us in this great mission.
