Opening Ceremony for Boys’ Dormitory in LEA Ministry / Dongobesh
On May 31st the time had come: the opening ceremony of the new boys’ dormitory was a big event – as always when there is something to celebrate in Tanzania. Director Martin Tango guided the representatives from the local administration and the church, as well as the visitors from families and the community through the 4-hour program. People enjoyed a tour through the new premises.
“Bridge of Hope” financed the roof, the washrooms and the beds, a total of 150 million Tanzanian shillings (equivalent to around €60,000). Bishop Zangazero from the Lutheran Church of Mbulu read the greetings on behalf of the sponsors from Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the USA during the opening ceremony. It is always wonderful to see how God unites people from so many countries to create something new together with the local community in Dongobesh.
As always, singing, dancing and the national hymn were part of the opening ceremony.
