Opening Ceremony for new Dormitory in Dongobesh

The new girl’s dormitory was officially opened in a ceremony with the District Commissioner of Mbulu, Dr. Chelestino Mofuga, on January 15. Over 200 girls from LEA Primary School will find her new home in this dormitory.

For many of the children, this was an emotional moment: they started the idea of this new dormitory through prayers. Long time before any budget was secured and any plans were made, the children raised their issues to their father in heaven. Dreams and prayers have become reality now…

**The new dormitory – home for 200 girls from LEA Primary School**

The construction of the girl’s dormitory is a huge financial adventure for LEA Ministry. The total costs are above $150,000. This would not be accomplishable without external support like donors from US, Czech, Slovakia and Germany. Many thanks again to all that supported the engagement of “Perspektive Hoffnungsbrücke”! But what is also remarkable is the fact that the local community contributed over 30% of the total amount.
